BoneDog Posted 1 November 2009 Share Posted 1 November 2009 i'm down to 3 seeds now, and have 40%, but i have to go out, but i'm usually online all day and will put it back on later, so i'll leave it on my PC for a few days...do you have to have bittorrent running for it to become available, i'm guessing: yes. Mines seeding and I have someone from Norway downloading it from me so that would be you I guess. The speed is not fast in the day but after around midnight it goes fast. You on 49% now Bittorrent, utorrent or any should be ok. I always go with utorrent. Thanks alot DavieG. I've got three UK users downloading from me right now. Those of you who aren't seeing it must have tech problems at your end, since I've got six upload slots available. I'd be thinking about firewalls - many torrent clients need you to 'port forward' through the firewall the particular port which they connect over. Meanwhile, I've just watched the game again. I can use computers but this stuff is baffling. If you remove the torrent from utorrent, then close utorrent, then restart it and add the torrent again that might work. I did that and 2nd time I tried it started. I'm seeding all day and night so you should be able to get it. My utorrent says 6 seeds and 6 peers. Also check utorrent 'options', 'preferences' 'connection'. Check 'add firewall exception' box has a tick in it. And maybe tick 'enable UPnP port mapping' aswell (not sure what that is but someone once told me to tick that box). In preferences 'bandwidth' 'maximum number of connected peers per torrent is on at least 10 (mines on 90). If you've got DSL or cable the thing to do is to set your maximum upload speed within your torrent software to about 80% of the maximum capable by your connection - if you go above that then the download capacity gets badly affected. CupidStunt Posted 2 November 2009 Share Posted 2 November 2009 I'll leave it on for a bit, see how it goes, shouldnt need to keep re-starting it,as utorrent auto updates the tracker, (I see itspiratebay which is a decent enough tracker anyhow) and i have DHT enabled also, in case anyone else has uploaded the same file from here anywhere else when i was a staff uploader on a unamed torrent site, we was forced to split any files into little parts using winrar, it was in order to recover the possiblilty of any broken files, think it was a bit safer thats all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
