I’ll start with a few genuine ones and at least one silly one. See if you can spot the silly one....

 

1. If the teams are drawn at the end of 90 minutes just add 5 minutes and then do away with injury time altogether 

2. No substitutions allowed after 80 minutes.

3. The moment after the referee indicates a substitution can be made, the player leaving the pitch cannot touch the ball-this would stop players sauntering off slowly to waste time

4. A player cannot be off-side in the penalty area if there are at least three defenders and the keeper also in there

5. A maximum of 8 players from the defending team are allowed in the penalty area at any one time

6. Create a much larger arc around the corner flag and make it illegal to keep the ball in that area for more than 3 seconds

7. Every team must include at least three players from each gender

I'd like to see it, but it's been discussed on here before and was generally given the thumbs down by the very knowledgeable FT members....

Non flair players must wear black boots. A panel including Sam Allardyce, Howard Webb, Paul Merson and Big Dave from the Rose and Crown will decide who qualifies as a flair player and therefore permitted to wear bright fancy boots.
