The basis of your angst seems to be that he scores lots of goals and likes scoring goals, so he is a bellend for it.

 

Its a crap argument that's fuelled by resentment, jealousy, your supporter bias and your own endless levels of unhappiness and pettiness

He did swear on his own daughter's life for a goal that didn't look to be his - that came across as quite dickish. It does seem abit cliquey too with the Spurs lot but obviously as the Captain he holds some solid weight and thought in the decisions being made and I wouldn't say anyone else there deserves the armband over him.

 

Think Kitch made a couple of fair points as did you, he can come across as a mardy sod most of the time but there doesn't seem to be anything up with him, he's pretty consistent in his views and doesn't push agendas ect. just posts what he thinks. Not sure his post really deserved that follow through.

The fall out from the whole thing is ridiculous how you can try and claim the ref was poor in our favor I have no idea. It's a blatant penalty, they should have been down to 10 men before that as it's a clear headbutt (Henderson's isn't in the same league)
