I’d have rather we won and took on Japan. I don’t like the thought of playing Columbia.

But after we beat Columbia, you’ll be glad we play Switzerland/Sweden in the quarterfinals rather than Mexico/ Brazil mate

They've looked relatively flat but have dominated all of their group games even with 10 men against Japan.

James picked up a knock and came off earlier, Quintero looks a real creative talent so they can still pick a pass, Falcao on his day is one of the best strikers on the planet, they play Sanches of Spurs and Yerry Mina of Barca at the back - both are very good, pacey young defenders, Mina is superb in the air.

If we go out its our own fault, if we don't show up it's a travesty. Great chance of making the Semis now

Are these lot any good? They've had decent group matches and we've beaten a team that very rarely wins and beaten a team that very rarely plays and our b team lost a game they didn't want to win. Come on Harry Kane FC!

Battle of the set pieces. They've a beast in Mina and we've got Stones, Maguire and Kane. We'll nick it 2-1.

Colombia aren't great but we need to be at our best in order to progress.

This is the best chance we'll ever have at reaching the semis

Colombia aren't great, we aren't great. That bottom line says it all though.

Colombia didn't look at all comfortable today against Senegal's physicality. After looking the epitome of style and quality v. Poland, they looked ordinary today. Senegal should have won, but missed their chances.

Senegal were energetic and combative without being dirty, and repeatedly closed them down, allowing them little time on the ball to play their classy passing movements.

We should be able to learn from that - and are certainly capable of playing that way. The fact that we've just rested most of our 1st team should make a high energy game even more viable.
