Building Partnerships

Whilst it's been a decent start to the season, along with some very good positives you can start to see some partnerships forming in the team. 

 

Specifically Mendy and Ndidi, they are looking very good alongside each other. 

 

Morgan and Maguire are used to playing with each other yet my hope is Maguire can form a partnership with Soyuncu. He is much more suited to this Puel team. 

 

Chilwell and Gray have a decent understanding, also I thought Ricardo and Ghezzal looked okay together and can see that growing over the season. 

 

Wouldn't it be lovely if Maddison and Vardy spark up a partnership too. 

 

Having great understanding over the pitch is key. We haven't seen a settled team under Puel, hopefully now we will start to see that.

For all of Maddison's ability we've not really capitalised on it yet, I'd like to see us transition quicker and try and find Vardy earlier in games where we have the space to. It's still early days though so hopefully Maddison and Vardy strike a good partnership.
