Missed my chance with the away end. Only option now looks like home end close to away section. Do you think that given the circumstances that should be a safe option this week? Just to take part in the tribute.

Seen a few on here that are travelling down anyway, not sure if they're going home end too.

The Family stand is next to the away end (Behind the goal) and I believe that's now sold out, the only other place near the away end is the Ninian stand which, on a normal day can get a bit feisty, but I don't think there'll be any problems. From what I can tell, a lot of City fans will be holding up their scarves as well as you.

Cardiff are still saddled with a bad reputation, probably deserved "back in the day", but apart from the few idiots that every club has, we've moved on. You'll have no problems on Saturday.

Nice one thanks for that.

Spent all day refreshing our away ticket page (quiet day at work) and just managed to get 2 tickets that became available in our end.

Keep checking. Typically, having a rugby match on at the same time affects our walk up sales, so there might be some additional tickets made available to you.

anyone know where’s going to best to drink for this, imagine the city’s going to be rammed

I’d steer well clear of the city centre.

Our ground is about a mile and a half from the city centre and to be honest, we’re stuck on a retail park with no pubs nearby, apart from a pub/restaurant next to KFC but I think they only serve alcohol with a meal on match day.

Best place to have a beer is Canton, Cowbridge Road East to be precise. Plenty of pubs there, but they will be busy as well.

All depends on how you’re travelling to be honest, coaches usually renedvous on the M4 and get escorted straight to the ground, which is about 10-15 minute walk from the pubs, best ask locals or police for directions. Easiest for you to have  a couple of pints though is probably inside the ground.

Cheers, heading in on the train to grangetown so it sounds easier to drink in the ground

Grangetown station to the ground is an easy walk, no pubs on sloper road though, nearest one would be the cornwall on cornwall street

Is it easier to walk from CC to ground or Catch train from CC to Ninian Park ?

Train to either Ninian Park or grangetown. Ninian park would be closest but the walk is about 2 miles. Ok if the weather is decent

Have booked for Ninian tbh but was wary of it being busy

Pretty sure that from Leicester you’d have to change at Cardiff central anyway, but usually room in the NP train, if there isn’t your ticket would be valid for grangetown

I was going to book for Ninian but their website says grangetown is closest?? Presumably all pubs full of egg chasers so I'm going to have some beers in the ground instead

I am not going to Cardiff but will be following it the best I can. I know that everyone will do their best for Vichai. The plan for the Burnley game is fantastic and I will be there. I would love for WYS to be played and sung 'en masse' at the game. It would definitely help it were played at a relatively low volume so that everyone can join in. The version by the Leftover Cuties is my favourite and I think it has a great pace and rhythm to sing along to.

Both stations are about 1/2 a mile away from the ground, literally nothing in it. No pubs en route apart from the Sand Martin behind the canton stand https://www.sandmartinpubcardiff.co.uk/ on game days though, you can only buy alcohol if you're ordering food.

The Egg chasers will probably all be in the city centre, that said, the pubs in Canton will also be very busy with City fans. Best chance of finding a pub is on Cowbridge Road East, I'm sure you'll get a decent welcome from home fans.

This link to the club's website should give you some more info on specific contact details, travel advice etc https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/club/visit-us/

Ticket office number is 033 33 11 1920
