Leicester round on Only Connect

Don’t know how many here watch Only Connect, but last night’s show included a missing vowels round on Leicester.  Apologies for the spoiler, but my Glaswegian friend Alisa put in a heroic performance and answered every question (one answer was King Power Stadium). It was particularly extraordinary as it turns out that she has never actually been to Leicester.

 

For a moment I thought: “hey, why not crowdfund a trip to Leicester for her?”

 

But then I remembered that she’s a Celtic fan, so having Benkovic on loan should be enough.

Nailed them all as well! Did take me a few seconds to get the visitor centre though.

I've never watched it, so I'm not aware of the format, but surely III isn't a missing vowel?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't there but I'll check. 

 

It's a great show - very difficult at times, I think you would enjoy it.

Just watched it back and they actually put "third" in.

Don't like the 'missing vowel' round it doesn't fit in with the rest of the quiz for me especially as i find it's the one I can do the best.

I don't get the dislike of the music questions. If you know music, they're as easy/difficult as any other question.

The big welsh chap on the chase won this (with his team)2011ish I think.Must have been where they spotted him,it’s ridiculously difficult sometimes.Great show though.
