A little off topic, but the way money s dictating football,. they'll be a super League sooner or later and Celtic and Rangers may well be in it.

They still wouldn't have anything like the funding of the top six though as they don't have the wealthy owners in place that they do.

They'd soon be bought out by such though

I wasn't suggesting that they could compete with the Top 6, but neither can any other teams in the Prem, but they would be up there with the best of the rest.

For teams to leave the EPL the financial rewards will have to massive.   I cannot believe Porto V Celtic will glue millions to some TV subscription channel.  A super League without English Teams will not work in places like Asia as the EPL remains their number 1 football fix.   If the so-called top 4 left the EPL, good luck and just tell them they will never be welcomed back.

Would be some great awaydays potentially if you could get the time off work, but the novelty would wear off very quickly. The players would hate it too.

There’d be some dire ones too!

Celtic and Rangers would be able to compete in the Prem simply due to the fact they would have access to the same funding. Whether you like it or not, both Celtic and Rangers are big clubs, attract huge support and would attract top players if they were in the Prem.

It’s one thing competing, it’s another thing gaining trophies
