Ghezzal Goes to Fiorentina

If the permanent clause is eventually activated, then that's a cracking bit of business from the club. Ghezzal was a poor signing, not what we needed in a winger and very limited as a player at PL level. However, as others have said, he did take some OTT flack from the fanbase and seemed pleasant enough on a personal level

 

So it's ditto Slimani and Silva - hopefully he monsters his loan spell and Fiorentina snap him.

And that is what any fan,can be Thankfull for...He IMO,never really had a bad game,and if anything if poor,he was no worse than some regulars,on the day he did well when surprisingly being subbed on for Maddison.

I think that was Palace away. Maddison was completely ineffective. Ghezzal was introduced at HT and we looked a totally different team. Did more in 5 minutes than Maddison did in a half.

 

That said that's one game. He was ok in other games, but nothing special. We can get and do have better.

I didn’t mind him. He took some harsh abuse from our fans though; for basically not being a like for like Riyad replacement.

 

He did have bad games thought was it Everton away where he was dragged at half time, for being nothing short of woeful!
