Ghost of Tsushima - is it worth it?

Bit late to the party

Absolutely

Looks beautiful, good story and the gameplay is really fun

The only very minor issue I have with it is that it is a bit “Ubisoft” with it being open world and there being collectables, but thankfully there isn’t loads of them so it doesn’t make it a chore to go searching for them

The next game in the series is meant to be out next year as well

GoT is defo well worth playing. Beautiful game with real slick movement. I'm in the minority where I quite like games with loads of collectibles. I enjoy just zoning out and going around collecting stuff before doing main quests.

I started the DLC of Tsushima but got bored quite quickly. I think the length of the main game is just about perfect. It does get a bit monotonous once you get to the end (probably due to all the collectibles 🤣)

God Of War Ragnarok is it a game worth getting? Game I've considered getting but wanted to wait for the price to drop if I was going to and currently in the Black Friday sales with some places.

Probably the best game in the series.

The best deals on PS are on the subscriptions, not the games.

PS Premium is only 9 quid more than Extra and is only 85 quid.  Purchase a 100 quid gift card from shopto for 85 and there's an extra 15 in your wallet.

No brainer.

Purchased the PS Premium service since it's relatively cheap at the moment.  The streaming service has impressed me the most so far.  Gave Remnant 2 a try and there's no slow down at all/noticeable graphical downgrades  And it takes up no space.  Win win.

Anyone get anything good in the Black Friday sales? I picked up NHL 25 and F1 24 then got God Of War Ragnarok for towards Christmas.

PS Premium, 30% off and another 15 quid on top of that to spend on next years subscription since a £100 top up only cost £85.

Enjoyed the start up on booting up the PS5 today. :D

Wish it was a permanent addition myself, including the addition choosing from PS1 through to PS4 for the background.

I'm really enjoying it especially how quick it is to start up and fast travel

Want to do one more platinum before the end of the year (since FF7 Rebirth is huge and taking ages - I'm at over 100 hours and only back at the Gold Saucer for the 2nd time) which is easy and doable in a short amount of time.  Plucky Squire anyone?

Does anyone know of a PS5 open world game where you have stay in line with nature and not over harvest certain areas?

No Man’s Sky , many aspects to the game but one is you can mine and harvest plants and minerals but most planets are protected by sentinels who may come after you if you take too much , you can just kill them but then you may have a few on your tail. Beautiful game with limitless things you can do on limitless planets.

Just finished Astro Bot, absolutely loved it, definitely a 9.5/10!

The only complaint I can possibly have that for me means it isn't a 10/10 is that it isn't longer!

Took me around 15 hours to complete the main game

I think it will take an hour or so to sweep up the remaining trophies for the platinum

Must play for anyone who has a PS5

Yeah I think it’s the best platform game I’ve played since Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. Truly amazing. Have you put much time into the speed rounds? I’ve been obsessively playing the recently released “TICK TOCK SHOCK” round and I’m about 200th worldwide which my be my life’s greatest achievement haha.
