I met a guy in a sauna once ...who told me nudge in the gym working hard in the summer break...  he must have been at derby by then... and by training all summer so he could lengthen his career.

Many fans got on his back but he was tireless in linking the midfield to vardy.... vardy built his career on the confidence he gained from playing with Nugent. 

He contributed so much.... yet truth is it was time for him to move on when we out grew him.  But we should all salute him

It's a shame Dyer and Nuge weren't around for the title season but brats like Mahrez were.

Dyer turned down a contract with us to drop down a league to join Watford. 
 

He chose a longer contract in a lower division than play in the Premier league with us.

In retrospect I would class him as more of a hero than someone like Mahrez, which is odd given the two aren’t comparable in achievements. Always felt that the Championship winning group was MY team, probably because of how badly I took that Watford defeat...

Agree with you on that one, I felt closer to that team more than the title winning side if that makes sense.
