It will be absolutely incredible if he does it again. Make no mistake about it

Of course it will but once you’ve climbed Everest it’s not as special second time around

For the same player to beat it twice for a club like ours. Come on, you know you want it lol

Our of interest, @Izzy, how many times have you scaled Everest? :P

Beating his own record would be pretty special.

Of course it would, it would be amazing.

But I'm sure that he and the rest of us would rather just keeping winning instead.

Both would be nice though if we're allowed to be greedy in this hypothetical scenario

I got to base camp once but nearly died of hypothermia. That's why I'm one of life's losers :(

Yeah I wouldn't sacrifice any points for it thats for sure. And neither would Mr Vardy

Surely you need a 0 pts option?

The clue was in the word 'dropped' but I accept it's a flawed question, and was knowingly absurd anyway.

Vardy beating his own record is the last thing on my mind atm.

Even if by a miracle he does, it'll never be as magic as the first time. And I'm sure if you asked the man himself, he'd say 3 points every game is more important.

What an absurd hypothetical question

Ok cool. It happens to be on mine.

As for the rest, well yes, I agree. It's just something to talk about.

It’s fun to consider, though it’s a way off yet. Maybe come the end of Jan if we’re way off on our own in second some of us would hypothetically take a point dropped to break the record again, but he doesn’t tend to make bad decisions, so it’s a bit moot...

Vividly remember the game that ended his record run when he squared it for Mahrez’s hat trick at 2-0 rather than take a decent but lower percentage shot. 100% team player, it’s decisions like that that elevate him above the likes of Kane.

0 dropped points. It's a team game. We aren't Jamie Vardy FC.

What a club that would be. Non-league to Premier League ten years after forming, Chat Shit Get Banged as the club motto with skittles vodka and cheese toasties the only thing available at the kiosk.

As for the question, you are right. The team winning is most important.
