Thankyou for your reply, I have tried them they are sold out unfortunately

Have you tried from coalville. I'd normally catch the bus from hinckley but it was sold out, but coalville wasn't.

If you get asolutely no joy, and the alternative is simply not going, you could try the train as a last resort.    Not ideal, as timings are a bit tight and risky, but it is do-able  (so long as it doesn't go to penalties).

If the game finishes at 9.45pm, a fast walk to Aston should get you there in 15 mins.  Just in time to catch the 22.02, which arrives Birmingham New Street 22.10.    Or 5 minutes after that, one leaves Aston 22.07 gets in Birmingham New Street 22.13

So long as there are no major delays or cancellations, either of the above 2 should get you to New Street in time.

The train to Leicester (and Hinckley, Narborough, South Wigston) leaves New Street at 22.22

Obviously the above has some risks.

What's the worst that can happen?   You miss the last train back, and have to catch the 05.19 back to Leicester on Wednesday morning.    Not the end of the world.

Depending on where you live could try the train from Rugby.

That's what we're doing and it has the advantage of later trains back last one being 23.10

I've done exactly the same, cheap as chips in all!

Same here, it’s amazing how they can justify the prices from Leicester
