We've had our run where we've been better than expected and now it's Norwich who basically outplayed us at our place. Then we play a bunch of teams that aren't West ham so will probably beat us. Rather interesting how so many FTers seem to recall games that we did not win (even some we did). We out-possessed, out-shot, out-passed, out-tackled and heck even out-dribbled Norwich. In effect, we outplayed these in all measurable indices. Sadly, we failed to out-do them where it matters most - goals. >
Deeg67 Posted 26 February 2020 Posted 26 February 2020 Norwich is the last-place team in the league and facing almost certain relegation. Maybe they offer more in attack than most bottom-feeders, but they are what they are. If you're trying to be a CL side you have to take care of business in a match like this - period, no excuses. Anything less than 3 points would justifiably be called a(nother) disappointing result.

Pliskin Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 I said it last week but I think Vila will be the turning point. The lads will be have to be up for that, and I think we will smash the and then hopefully kick on.
