Speaking of this day....

Imagine if we actually finished second instead of first. I would never be able go get over that.

Claridge didnt get into the Top Flight until he was 30...Vardy and his late career...

Vardy und Claridge has a Front line pairing,??

Then again..Heskey & Vardy....??

who would you prefer, from the 3..??

I've never lost my head as bad as I did that day. 😅 I thought the wheels were coming off and Moss was handing out the spanners. Funny thing is, looking back I reckon most of his decisions were ok!!

Heskey 96-02 and Vardy 15-now would be an incredible partnership. Heskey's power and pace with Vardy's running off the shoulder and space in behind, they'd have been a great pairing.

That pen he did give at the end was ridiculous, but I've always thought it was a make-up for not giving one when Huth was flat-out tackled in the box on a throw-in a few minutes earlier.

I can't remember that! But I thought it was a pen on schlupp. From where I was sat, Carroll (I think) polaxed him. Most angles didn't do it justice. Also their pen was very soft and their players totally got into his head.

He had an awful game really, just not quite as disgraceful as I felt at the time!!

When it mattered between 2014-2016, Ulloa stood up and delivered.

Similar to Claridge in many ways- wasn't with us that long, around 20 goals apiece yet so many vital ones.

His performance when Vardy was suspended v Swansea was tremendous. Absolute bargain for £8 million.

His goal against Norwich was massive too. I know he was pretty much a squad player that season but he stood up massively in the final stretch. An absolute hero of mine
