I dont think the FA should be managing it, they are too obsessed with the English national team.

And yet sabotage themselves at the same time by appointing dire managers like Southgate and Boothroyd.

I don't think it will affect us greatly as most of the players we get are internationals already or exceptional talents, however, players who wouldn't be able to come would be the likes of Mahrez, Kanye, Laport, Fofana etc.

We'd be stuck having to buy and compete with richer clubs from a smaller talent pool which might become an issue for smaller like us who would normally take a chance on unproven talent or up and coming players.

There's no positive from this for Leicester in the short term.

Wow.  You worry a lot.  None of the above is going to happen.  There will be deal.  There is always a deal.

I hope you are right.  At the moment it is like 2 stags butting heads with neither side willing to back down.

I have a feeling the EU want to make it as difficult and expensive as possible for the UK so no other country sees an easy way out like France or Germany which could well cause the collapse of the EU itself.  The Government obviously want us to look like we are getting the better deal to jusify leaving in the first place...  How do you negotiate that down so it looks like a good deal for both sides?

A smaller pool of foreign players we can sign, not to mention an already over inflated domestic market in terms of transfer fees will absolutely make this harder in the short term.

Because if the withdrawal agreement is modified then it will technically be null and void, requiring a new immigration policy that the government have always vied for and particularly with the customs arrangements proposed change which gives the government extra powers to modify our immigration policy.

Whilst I'm not an expert I would be surprised that our legal agreements with UK clubs and UEFA won't change.

In a slightly similar way, elite sport was exempt to Covid regulations (with extra measures put in place).

EUFA almost certainly need the English sides, can’t see an issue from their end. Likewise, the government aren’t likely to block numerous foreign players coming and earning millions and paying large chunks in tax.

I really don’t think there will be any issues at all. It’s likely a caveat will be put in place to keep things running smoothly.
