A place for detailed tactics/observations.

Dominic Wells does loads of LCFC analysis. Here are his latest pieces on Man City (overall, we were good) and (corners, we weren't so good).

Not read the link yet (definitely will though!)

But please pin this, even if it is only so we can have that match reminder one click away every time we open foxestalk!

I don't think this should be pinned. I think it's best that our rivals don't see this stuff. It should probably be hidden to non-members and non-Leicester-fan members.

Bit paranoid chap, I like to think West ham are at least trying. They know what to do, just can't do it.

An excellent forensic analysis on Jamie Vardy

Thanks for sharing, this was a great read. The heatmaps of what areas of the final third Vardy has spent his time in over the past few seasons was really enlightening. It's something I think we all knew, but nice to see it with some real evidence too.

My apologies to @StriderHiryu for stomping on his turf.

He and Dominic and others do some sterling analysis work.

Ah no need to do that! Everyone should always be welcome to post things on the site and Dominic's analysis is really good.

Yeah that was a great article because the illustrated demonstrations of his runs show you how intelligent Vardy's runs are. In fact something that analysis makes me hopeful of is that Vardy still probably has 2-3 years left in him. These days his game is not about searing pace, but intelligent movement and clinical finishing, and those things won't ever go away. Potentially it means our other wide forwards have to do more work to compensate for Vardy's declining physical stats, but when he is such a clinical finisher, that might be a decent compromise to make! I hope he finishes his career here, or if he goes he goes either to Wednesday (his boyhood club) or to the states for a final payday. I think that just like Jermain Defore, he can continue to play for a number of years yet.
