For the amount of play that goes through his side, the numbers would be a lot higher with a better player.  It is frustrating watching him kill attack after attack until he gets the chance to cross.  His ability to cross when he gets the confidence isn’t worth the poor defending, inability to pass the ball forwards and shocking cardio.  Glad he is contributing something positive though. 

 

I would like to see more attacks start through Alves than Okoli/Thomas.

Right, so when its all said and done, what does Luke Thomas being the highest assister in League 1 do for us?

Rather embarrassing we're able to say a Leicester City player has stats in this league, LET ALONE applaud it.

 

I don't suddenly drop my standards as a fan because we're being run into the mud. 

Lauding achievements outside the 1st division is not befitting of a LCFC fan.

Imagine a world where let’s say Riis gets an all time record for goals scored and for fans just to say well he should it’s Lge 1.
We are Leicester city in Lge 1 with Lge 1 / lower championship players not Man C after being penalised for their breaches and keeping all their current players.

We should all turn our noses up when a pub quiz says list the only clubs to have won the top 3 divisions & the only player to have won them with a single club.

You’re more than entitled to your opinion on him, I want him scoring more too. Adding assists is a bit different because that’s relying on others, the data (if you care) would suggest he should have more. 
 

I just think on the whole he’s been one of our best performers. Created the most chances for us. 
 

The Barnsley miss was awful and there were plenty saying that at the time. In the same game he put it on a plate for Cullen who hit it straight at the keeper, that was at 1-0 I think so we go onto win that game. 

Im also well aware he’s not 12 but in his career it’s his first proper run of starting games.

He just isn't good enough. We should be looking at getting a proper left-back in for the future rather than kicking this can down the road.
