Another bizarre performance from him, got in the box a lot tonight and a lot of half chances fell his way thay you'd rather a midfielder or attacker got but his cross for Riis 2nd was a peach.

Guilty of so much mis placed passing and under hit balls that contributed to a very frustrating evenings viewing but on to the next one where he'll be asked to play lots of roles he's not suited to.

Quite astonishing to hear Martin talk about what he thinks of Thomas vs what Maresca viewed of him tactically and technically.

Thomas was told to find himself a new club immediately.

Ward, relegated to ball carrier and kicker for the keepers.

Maresca was annoying in many ways, but calling out them two showed he knew a fraud when he saw one.

Whilst I dont disagree with this, Enzo also landed us with extra Vestergaard time. so there is that.

As a wing back he is serviceable with cover, and actually quite decent going forward. Think he is another who really needs the cover a 3/5 at the back brings. As long as it’s a back 3 I have no issue with him starting, in a back 4 we’d be better off with Joseph, Aluko, O'Hora or Kangasniemi out there

If I were in any capacity capable of doing so, I'd be advocating to the clubs analytics and fitness team to look closely at his physical status.

He's running with lead in his boots and we KNOW he's not that slow. His lifestyle almost certainly an issue and, given the nature of his profession, there should be some form of intervention.

It's painfully obvious that he's not fit and healthy in comparison to others in the same league.

Negligent to allow this.

This is it for me, worst kept secret in football that he’s a piss head yet nobody has done anything about it at the club. Far better players than him have been sent to rehab numerous times but he’s had no intervention  whatsoever. Not just the fact that as a player who’s been contracted for millions it affects his performances but also the fact that as a person he needs help. Whole thing stinks tbh

The more I think about it the more I do think this to be true. I don't really know how you go from looking passable in the Premier League to looking out of your depth in League One without serious injury?

It isn't a bad run of form. He's broken. I couldn't believe the vlogger clip against Peterborough of him - looked as unfit as if I was playing (and believe me I am not fit). There is something very wrong here.

Tbf, Enzo had already left when Vestergaard's extension was announced. And Enzo was also the only manager to get a tune out of tall Jannik, so it's a bit odd to criticise him for that.

The amount of times we're attacking and his run either offers nothing or actively hurts the attack is mind boggling, just hold your width and whip crosses in, both Riis and Bristric would feed off them as he has a really good cross

Russell’s comments are astonishing. I couldn’t believe he came out for the second half actually. Stupid foul after stupid foul, he was absolutely blowing for most of it, looks so unfit. The race he lost against their wide player did give me a laugh out loud moment though. He was so so slow.

It’s never been in doubt he’s got a lovely left foot but the fact he’s played so many minutes, so poorly, and then the manager comes out and says this is pretty depressing. It amazes me that he’s even a footballer, let alone played so many games for us. How low we are right now huh.
