It's a month or two old but has been on my on off rotation. Madlib's Sound Ancestors is such a great album. You can feel the memory of DOOM and Dilla coming through.

Jungle’s third album has just been announced. Released 13th August.

Absolutely love these. Can’t wait for the album. Hopefully get to see them live in September if Boris keeps his word.

Can't wait for this. Hoping to get tickets for the tour too - saw them at Parklife a couple of years back and they were wicked.

Despite their nottingham connections, loving Sleaford mods nudge it.

BTW, merging from another recent thread on the Leicester accent, the singer's affected accent turns out far more Leicester than Notts imo. He's missing that whiny pit worker drawl the Notts lads tend to have.

He sounds like.one of us. Not one of them.

Yeah I like these. Jason Williamson writes great lyrics, he's a proper character as well. I'm not normally interested when musicians give interviews but he's always a good listen .

Early 2000s I had mates in Forrest Fields Nottingham, spent too many late nights smoking, drinking and chatting. Every now and again Jason Williamson would turn up because he was mates with somebody. He'd sit in a corner all night with a plastic bag of cans and not say anything to anybody. So weird. Anyway not a huge fan of Sleaford Mods tbh but their MorknMondy song turned me onto Billy Nomates.

Filmed outside my old flat, next door to JT Soar the venue/studio where they record - fun fact!
