90s nightclub

Does anyone remember the name of the nightclub that was where superbowl was in the 90s

It was originally called the "Adam & Eve" in the late 70s, early 80s.

Changed its name periodically from then on, cant remember what the later names were before it changed to superbowl.

Was it called Harvey's or similar?

Dance Society in my pomp. But had various names before and after.

I was thinking of Harvey's, that would be late 80s, early 90s

Golds.  Went one night when Nigel Benn DJ'd in 1995.  De Lacy Hideaway was just being released and he played it there that night.

Golds.  I was there with 3 other mates.  It was a mid-week night as well.

 

Remember the night well as he was there, playing his set, but it wasn't a big crowd.

I spent the summer there working in 1996 as a holiday rep.

Gave up the Radio Leicester gig for that.

No regrets. It was worth it

Worse places to have a summer job. Great times in Es Paradis, Cafe Mambo etc. I'd struggle to do a couple of nights now though!

 

We have been in early talks about a 30 year reunion, rather worryingly.
