True Story, My Mother's name was also named Shelia. She used to do the Washing for a Football Club years ago using an old fashioned spin machine with the Mangle on top for nothing. And she used to get me to turn the handle on the Mangle for her, as she didn't have great health herself either.

So reading this brought back a lot of great memories. God bless you Mum you well deserved it.

Yes that’s right Keith Kent and Carl Kent, Keith was her husband and Carl her son I’m her granddaughter. Great you made the connection!

Did Keith go to New Parks secondary and became a Top groundsman in his own right..

if so..I can remember having a Deep Good young  friend talk, when he was deciding on his career path.

kept Close to him in These First few career steps before my travels...Really,Really a Great Early friend, where our sporting interests,meant we Met & socialised

on a irregular basis. Though fair to say After ca. our 23-25 birthdays, we lost contact.. Though felt Proud that we both encouraged each other in our Early sport

& Career paths...und even Today still One of the modest ,quiet best guys I was Short/School years befriended with, later just aquainted with.

One of the few friendships I remembered well into middleage...

Ps...Against The Beatles grain,at the Time  We both preferred & loved the Rolling Stones..That caused some banter,with School mates

Teachers & Early 20s friends..
