I guess for anyone that wants to discuss the game or ask genuine questions about it this might be the place lol

Manchester City play Manchester United tomorrow night at 7pm on BT Sport, both sides still in the title hunt with Chelsea

Then there’s 5 games from across the WSL/Championship on the FA Player service on Sunday including Leicester away to Durham at 12pm

Man City 1-0 up at half time, would half open the door for Arsenal to get back in the race for the 3rd Champions League place if they didn’t look so void of ideas lately

2-0 now.

Where would we sit in this league? We gave Man City a run for their money earlier on, beat reading and we’re arguably a stronger team than last season.

I’d like to think that 6th-10th range...The top 4 are all well clear with Everton not far behind then you’ve got a Reading side that are rebuilding but are very solid and an inconsistent but promising Brighton, Spurs are hard to get a read of but don’t seem anything special, Birmingham hiring Carla Ward in the Summer is the only thing that’s kept them out of the relegation zone and if she goes the club are in a mess, Villa will probably improve with a years experience, West Ham are only going one way and lastly Bristol City look much better than last place since Matt Beard took over but are still probably a couple players short of doing anything

Saw a bit of the Chelsea/Arsenal match yesterday, since the Leicester match wasn't on here.

Frank Irby set up the first 2 goals and scored the third in a 3-0 win for Chelsea.

What’s he doing playing for Chelsea Women?

The SheBelieves Cup starts on Thursday.

The 4 teams are Brazil, Canada, USA and Argentina(replacing Japan due to Covid).

Of course, would be a bit more interesting had England been one of the four.

As for my Canadian team, we'll be without all-time women's international scoring leader Christine Sinclair(injury). Kadeisha Buchanan, Jordyn Huitema and Ashley Lawrence all will miss due to their French clubs not allowing them to be released.

So basically....f&*k it!

Was hoping it’d be shown over here but with England not being involved looks like it’ll be a stream job!

Just seen that Huddersfield who are leading the National League North won’t be applying for promotion to the Championship even if they win their league because of the finances involved...real shame it’s still such an issue

I feel like a massacre coming on tonight vs the US. Always a struggle against them, although we've given them the occasional good match. With 4 top players out and them full strength, I'm not liking our chances lol

Although I can't comment on our play(due to not actually seeing the matches), but disappointed for my Canadian girls at the SheBelieves Cup.

Was always going to be tough without our best players and getting just the 1 goal in the 3 matches just ain't very good.

US mopping the floor with Argentina currently.

The Women's FA Cup resumes!

The Vitality Women's FA Cup will resume in March, with the third and fourth round draws having been made

We are pleased to confirm that following the Government’s recent roadmap announcement which will see the safe return of grassroots football from 29 March, the 2020-21 Vitality Women’s FA Cup will recommence at the end of this month.

The competition was paused in January at the second round after the country went into its third lockdown, with all ‘non-elite’ football suspended as a result.

With the recent announcement that the suspension will be lifted in a few weeks, we're now in a position to reschedule the first four rounds of the competition – with one tie still to be played in the first round proper and 17 in the second round proper, before the third and fourth rounds can be played.

The rescheduled dates – subject to ongoing Government guidance as we follow the roadmap out of lockdown - are as follows:

First round – 31 March 2021

Second round – 4 April 2021

Third round – 11 April 2021

Fourth round – 18 April 2021

To ensure clubs can plan and prepare for their upcoming ties, the draws for the third and fourth rounds have been made.

We must also acknowledge FIFA’s support for completing the later rounds of the competition. Conversations concerning a date for the fifth round, which will be completed this season, are ongoing.

Following the fifth round, up to three rounds, including the Final at Wembley Stadium, can be completed next season with dates to be confirmed.

Multi million pound tv deal, first of its kind fit the women’s game, with a bunch of games on BBC One/Two too. Revenue split sees 25% going to the Women’s Championship as well.

This is brilliant for the women's game.

More money coming in is one thing but making it more accessible to start with is fantastic.

Finance wise it’s the biggest game changer the sport’s ever had at £7m-£8m a year and on the accessibility there’s been a lot of “we don’t want to repeat the men’s game” in going down the exclusively pay tv path, it’s great to see that they had that in mind.

As the money increases how long before the Men's Rich 6 take over completely and demand exclusivity for themselves.

Given that the top four women’s teams in England are Man C, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U, I suspect that process or something very like it is already well underway.

For sure that's why I said 'completely'

Fair enough!

To be fair, a lot of people are probably looking at Leicester’s women’s team and thinking we’re trying to muscle in on that ourselves!

Well we are as are the men's team, you either push for autonomy or lay down and let them walk all over you as they are not giving up what they have voluntarily.

I agree. And I’m not criticising! I’m really pleased to see the club investing in the women’s team and hope they go up this season and do well next. Just saying that some people might think that we’re an example of the very thing we’re hoping won’t happen - if that makes sense!
