Would Leicester & Brendan make Zaha a much better player than he is today ?

I don’t think he is worth the money they would want...

And he's an unlikeable turd.

He's old, there are no guarantees.  I hope he does, but I think his future as soon as next season is as an impact sub.  Which means the overarching question is wether Kel can do this as a lone striker, working with Barnes and whoever we dig up for RW.  I think he can, but so far he's been far more successful with two up top so it's going to be interesting to find out.

At times Vardy was practically playing as a winger yesterday, and conversely Barnes has also had a couple stints more central, so I think it could be a relatively straightforward swap between the two now. Barnes wouldn't have been able to take on Vardy's old role I don't think, but the current role almost as a support striker  for Kelechi is well within his capabilities. When he's fit again I'd like to see the Barnes/Iheanacho combination for 30 minutes at the end of a game and see how they get on.

That being said Vardy won't be stepping back quite so easily, and we still need attacking reinforcements anyway, but we're in a relatively good position with what we already have.

That's my hope.

Personally I’d go nowhere near Zaha

We’ve built ourselves on having a great work ethic, no real prima-donnas (ok maybe Madders?) and a great team spirit

Zaha can be a dangerous player. He can also sulk, go right off form and would probs demand a ridiculous salary

Not for LCFC.. our players have to ‘fit’ us and I don’t think Zaha would

So happy with this last night I did think when we went 1-0 down that would be it for the night but great result that tackle by evans was so so good and his pass to nacho man was amazing to. Shake Vardy didn’t get a goal as he had some very good chances but hopefully he is saving them for the last 4 games of the season. It’s a crazy time when it’s harder to fit Ricardo in the team shows the quality we have. Get 6 points from Southampton and Newcastle we are going to be in a great position.

Palace is not a terrible team.  They have guys who can hurt you on the counter, and an Owl-managed side is always going to be pretty organized and competitive.  Still, things got better for us when Albrighton came on and give us a wide presence, as Maddison did nothing while he was on the pitch.  It's not that Albrighton did anything either, but just having him where he was positionally opened things up for the strikers.

You realise Perez replaced Maddison? Castagne moved to LWB and Albrighton went to RWB. Nothing changed formation wise. Things only god better once Nacho bagged a worldie out of nothing and Palace gave us more space to attack.

Irrelevant.  We scored the second goal after Albrighton came on shortly thereafter (for Thomas) and looked more dangerous because he was offering width on the right - that's the point.

I like this a lot, showing respect for different cultures is good news. It's all a bit Chariots of Fire. :D

Do you think other players have observed the fast and just kept quiet about it before? I wouldn't be surprised if it was frowned upon in the past, to say the least.
