To me there's a difference between "hard" men and players who were just plain "nasty". I'd put Lochhead and Large in the former and Giles and his ilk in the latter.

I can't remember any former City players in the latter although I'm sure we must have had them.

Yes, there's certainly a differentiation. I honestly don't recall a Leicester player who was vindictive or a bully. Walshy was just at 'amber warning' level on the pitch. Wise could be nasty - yet he was too small to be considered a 'heavy' - unlike his noxious teammate at Wimbledon, Vinnie Jones. But when one of the 'Crazy Gang' was asked who was the toughest in their team they said it was Mick Harford - just because he didn't seem to notice the knocks he received.

I cannot look at Roy Keane without a measure of distaste for what he did to Haaland. For me, that was worth a life ban. Anyone who deliberately attempts to injure another player without thinking of the consequences doesn't belong in football. Jones did the same thing to Gary Stevens and his tackle on Steve McMahon (another tough guy) was, for me, over the bounds.

Of course, there were any number of Argentine, Italian and Uruguayan players who should have been arrested for GBH.

it's a subject that never palls :).

Vinnie Jones should never been allowed to play on a football pitch. No skill, just pure intimidation. Injured players cold bloodedly. Can't excuse Keane either but at least he could play a bit.

Talking about disrespect. Did anybody see when Azpilicueta went off, tried to go the longest way, Dean told him to go the shortest way and Azpilicueta basically told him "I'm going this way".

Also, and a bigger point, Chelsea turned up to an FA Cup final in fvcking tracksuits. I cannot recall a side doing that.

There was a point in the game early doors where Leicester were not pleased at all with Azpilicueta who struck Rodgers on the sidelines.

I thought something happened because Rodgers seemed to stretch for the ball and Azpilicueta kicked out? Could only just see it at the bottom of the screen then the camera moved on.

Has there been a complaint you know of?

No official complaint but let’s just we very audible made our point. There’s no love lost now between both management teams

Maybe reading too much into it, but I thought for the handshake at the end with BR , Tunchel was ungracious. B R put his hand out and looked like he was saying well done, but T didn’t seem to give him eye contact nor say anything  and quickly turned to do the bunny jump group hug thing with his coaching team .
The guy is too pumped up for my liking , and I think we’ll see him become a serial mardy arse like Jose M.
