...along with Chelsea.

https://www.football365.com/news/chelsea-leicester-charged-by-fa-after-stoppage-time-fracas

Chelsea and Leicester City have both been charged after there was a late scuffle between both sets of players/staff on Tuesday night.

Players and staff from both teams squared up to each other after Ricardo Pereira’s challenge on Ben Chilwell.

An FA statement read: “Chelsea FC and Leicester City FC have both been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following their Premier League fixture on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

“It is alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players and/or club officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour during the 93rd minute.

“Chelsea FC and Leicester City FC both have until Tuesday, May 25, 2021 to provide their respective responses.”

Chelsea won the match 2-1 to boost their Champions League bid and knock Leicester out of the top four.

Can't remember the last time we got charged. Must be during the Pearson days?

Most likely the Villa scuffle when Matty James and Clark (?) had handbags

Chelsea were leaving their foot in all night. They were clearly upset by the FA Cup final and decided to deal with it by kicking anyone they could get near to. Happy Ricardo gave some back but it was kind of hilarious that Chelsea couldn’t take it. Also I’ve seen a lot of Chelsea fans on social media saying that Leicester were dirty which I find equally as funny.

We must be doing something right if Chelsea are so intent on forcing a rivalry with little old Leicester!

So whats the punishment likely to be?

A fine i'd assume.

Just dawned on me, the punishment is likely to be more than the greedy six got for trying to ruin the Premier League/Football.

Kinda makes the whole thing abit pathetic on both counts really.

It’ll be around 20k if previous punishments are anything to go by. Also both clubs normally receive different punishments depending who is seen most at fault. Also find it odd that this will be punished but Man Utd won’t for their fans violently getting a game called off.

Amartey needs to start vs. them next season.

It made me laugh that mount wants to square up to Amartey. Say what you want about his footballing ability but the lad is build like a house. I’d back him against anyone on either side let alone mason mount 😂

I was thinking we missed a trick here against Chelsea in midweek. They could have gone down to 9 or 10 men if they lost their heads against him.

It's like in ice hockey where you have a guy who can barely skate or puckhandle, but throws absolute haymakers when called upon. Enforcers in the PL would be a welcome addition haha

The amount of Chelsea fans acting like he got roughed up by Mount and Silva, they got all shirty and he just stood there. God I never want us to turn in to those weirdo clubs with plastics coming out of their ears.

It's a fair punishment but where is the punishment for the clubs who tried to overhaul the whole institution of English football?

Yeah when the hell is this happening? Thought they were getting points deducted etc

I was really cheering on our bench hoping big wes or Dan would just knock one of them out. Red card on the bench is fine with me. They made a beline for kolo as well, which I found a bit odd
