I mean I generally have no sway with the club when it comes to transfers   but I’ll send a strongly worded email haha

People need to realise the transfer market is going to be quite stagnant this window.

Many clubs will be watching their spending.

I highly doubt any Premier league club that would want KDH will be spending the sort of money we would want.

The elite few who may be able to buy him  won't want him.

He will be here when the season starts there is nowhere for him to go even if he wanted to.

I agree. How are we going to raise the funds  we need to comply with PSR which we reportedly need to have in the coffers before June 30th?

Tbh I don't think if any of the clubs that have the money to offer us that we want came calling he'd need to be forced.  It'd no doubt be a bigger club offering him more money, possibly a greater chance of winning something (though our track record there is top drawer tbf) and he'd be able to leave under the guise of helping the club by way of making the move.

Despite being a Leicester fan I don't think that means nearly as much when you're in the profession as it does to regular fans.

Most clubs will be looking  to sell not buy.

I appreciate it is not simple, but I fear ‘gambling’ by not complying with PSR will send us down, and then down again. It is essential we don’t ignore it. We will have to sell assets. We will have to have a plan to comply. The club simply cannot ignore it.

It's a simple maths 

 

If there are no buyers at the price you want you are stuck.

 

You can't force clubs to buy our players.

I think we could get a buyer for KDH for £20m, personally. If not, we have to sell the other academy made players, which we don’t need - Iversen, Nelson, Thomas, Brunt, Choudhury, McAteer. How much can we raise for that lot?

We'd have still gone up without Akgun, Praet and Nacho last season so the list you mention isn't gonna worry anyone. Ndidi as anything other than a ball winning midfielder is very easily replaceable. It's just the money side of it that the club wants to cover with him.

I get the feeling the club have decided to take the hit with PSR and wait for everything to level out with the wage budget. 

 

Selling KDH now is probably gonna cost us more in points than a second breach and him having a good season at this level will add 15m on to his value. I don't think selling Nelson for £5m or whatever will be of any benefit either.
