Anyone played Cyberpunk 2077 on it?

Works well.  BUT you have to be immersed completely.

It's a bloody good game

Just picked up a steam verified refurbished 512gb model for 319 quid, just couldn’t resist. Not played on pc for donkeys years. Anyone who is experienced with the steam deck able to give me a general over view of what I should do with it out the box to get the most out of it? Emulators etc. excited to get my hands on it.

I can't personally give any advice on emulation but I know EmuDeck is meant to make installing and setting up emulators easy. Moonlight and Chiaki work very well for streaming from PC and PS5 respectively. For general use I would say Decky Loader and then any plugins you like the sound of - I would recommend ProtonDB badges as they're usually a better indicator of performance/functionality than the Steam Verified badges

Grabbed one of these the other week, as an attempt to sustain a hobby which I've had little to no time or energy for the last few years.

Fantastic piece of kit and I've had a few hours on Spiderman / Bomb Rush Cyberfunk over the last few days. Probably more time than I've put into singleplayer games for a good while.

Really great for just being able to jump in and out of games when the opprtunity arises. Pleasantly surprised by how immersive it feels considering the size of the screen and the games look great on it.

Is Football Manager like the PC version on the Steam Deck?

Yeh, it would be. It's basically just a handheld PC. It has the option to switch between using it in a desktop mode and gaming mode, where the UI is reduced down to a gaming dashboard.

We have to look at getting one eventually much cheaper than a gaming PC
