I thought you didn't need to do a lateral flow test if you were double vaccinated??

You don’t but I’ve only been double vaccinated for 14 days tomorrow weirdly. I can’t prove my double vaccination until it gets to 19 days according to the NHS website.

They didn’t mine

They checked my name on the ticket against the Covid passport. That was only the outer cordon - not the turnstile.

Probably depended on the person doing it.

What should really be happening is that rather than thinking of ways to get round the test we all take responsibility for doing it and not lying/gaming it. It’s about integrity. It’s also illegal to pass your ticket on to someone else.

The thing is you can get a refund up until kickoff on any ticket so if someone can’t make it for whatever reason then what is the problem you giving that ticket to another family member to go rather than that seat be vacant? As long as that person follows the COVID protocol with providing a negative test result and so on then I don’t see a problem?

I’m just alarmed by the amount of people who are quite likely not to take any of the testing seriously.

Yes I know what you mean that way. I’m more to the point that if you can make use of a ticket and provide a negative test then regardless of the name you should be able to use it. Especially after the absolute shambles of a ticket office we haven’t got and that you can’t get through on the phone lines all week 😡😡

On the ticket office being a shamble. I rang earlier this week to try to upgrade to the cat 1 tickets (a few hundred appeared for some reason) , and they wouldn't let me cancel and buy the new more expensive tickets. Its didn't make any sense.

Nothing the ticket office does makes sense. It's a riddle.

For the FA Cup final I had to forge a text from the NHS app as I was using a family members ticket. Obviously this is wrong.

I still did a PCR test the the day before because it was the right thing to do. I’d like to assume that’s what most people are doing here (or a LFT at home etc).
