Well, that was dispiriting.

 

There have definitely been matches where I've given lower individual and average marks.

But I think that's the first time in 13 years that I've not given a single player more than a 6.

 

At a stretch, if we allowed fractions, maybe Amartey & KDH were worth 6.5, Soumare 6.25.

But 4 for Bertrand (and that's generous), same for Iheanacho & Vardy - and 5 for quite a few others (should be 4.5 for Youri).

The Merc readers and BBC have Tielemans as MOTM am I the only one who thought he was very poor, slow on the ball so robbed at least twice and gave the ball away 4 times in the 1st half, I gave up counting then.

 

The guy may be an excellent footballer but he sure has his share of bad games but seems to get an easy ride.

With Bertrand, he was one of the poorest out there last night. Gave the ball away on so many occasions and his passing was way off. Motm showcases how some people just worship him come what may.

Thought Tielemans was really awful, though he had plenty of company.  I almost stretched to give KDH a 7 but after that stinker, I couldn't bring myself to award one.

Well, you couldn't blame him.  But how can you rest him in a Euro game you have to win when your league campaign is mired in mediocrity?

Soumare was an 8 first half.

3 the second half.

Tielemans was dreadful dispute having the freedom of the pitch!

Amartey was our best player by a country mile.

Got to say really pleased for Amartey.

He's somewhat limited BUT he has been much better for a run in the team, and he deserves stuff like the goal and to see off Vestergaard is a big feather in his cap.

Like the free kick save cost us getting something out of the match Saturday, the penalty miss/save cost us the match last night, they weren't scoring a 2nd.

He never has a bad game does he . Always gets the excuse that he's tired. 

You can rate Tielemans highly and just accept he was crap last night  .
