Oh, is that the NHS where my mother was told she would have to wait 7 hours for an ambulance, and the had to wait 3 hours in a queue to unload her!  So the nurses that told me they were up to there eyeballs with the backlog were lying then?  It must have been an isolated incident...silly me for believing my own eyes and ears, what a fool I am!

It’s been like this for years mate even pre covid. In fact a&e was at its quietest when the first lock down hit.

I can assure you that sort of thing was going on way before we had even heard of COVID, makes it no less unacceptable though.

Junior Foxes Christmas Party just been cancelled. Lad is gonna be really upset about this when I have to break the news after school. Restricted numbers may be a possibility if we’re cancelling events for only 200 kids.

Football attendances will only be affected by Government legislation. Unless clubs are basically told to stop allowing people in then things will stay as they are, at least in England. I would have thought the sensible first step would be to ban away fans but don't think we are there yet. January might be a totally different scenario though.

Sorry but that's horrendous suggestion to ban away fans.

A) Home fans travel from all over the country anyway.

B) Home atmosphere with no away fans is unfair considering the first half of the season has been played with both sets of fans. Swings all matches in favour of the home side.

C) It's been nearly 2 years of back and forth with Covid restrictions now, not fair to mess with peoples livelihoods now for a variant not killing people with the majority of the population vaccinated.

Get a cheeky bet on Friday next week 👍

I tried to bet on a post Christmas lockdown last year, at the beginning of the week when Aleksandr Boris de Piffle Johnson said there wouldn't be a lockdown and by the end of the week he announced one.

The bookies seem to have their heads screwed down a bit better than this government because they wouldn't take any bets.

But you can now get Boris out by the end of the year at 15/1 on Betfair.

Banning away fans will do absolutely nothing.

It would have if we were still living in zones. But seeing as there is free movement in the UK again, it’s not the right move to ban away fans.

It also sounds really boring.
