i sincerely apologise cobbo if it isn't you.

it's when i start a new thread that they get moved, perhaps my threads are too controversial or something, too close to the truth.

patrick mcCarthy did more of a captains job on the pitch tonight, he was all ways on at the players, more of a leader to and what a joke having kisnorbo as a captain, i would love to know how he makes the starting 11.must be will in with cl.

He came here as CL’s “Blue eyed Boy†So fantastic we had to get him on a pre- season contract according to Levein. So unfortunately he has to play him to save face. CL hasn’t the balls to hold up his hands as admit he is crap and he has made a mistake and play a far better play like Hughes instead if having warm the bench.

Or even Joey Gudjonsson. He lead by example tonight. If all the players at LCFC put the same amount of effort in as he did then I don't think we'd be where we are in the league. The choice of Kisnorbo as captain baffled me as de Vries and Maybury were in the starting 11 too and had been captain before. I think MDV was captain at Preston and Ksinorbo played that game too so I didn't understand why he wasn't captain again? Doesn't seem to be any continuity in CL's selection of captain for games.

Well it would have been Maybury, until the QPR game.

Dion is the best captain we have, by a long way. But he doesn't fit into the team anymore with Paddy and Gerrbers playing well.

More importantly, there doesn't seem to be any consistency or continuity with his team selections.

I would've still given him the captain's armband ahead of Kisnorbo. Ok, he let his team-mates down by getting sent off but they've all let each other down at different moments this season. I think CL should move on from that incident completely.

Looking through the team that played tonight I struggle to find one player that would be behind Kisnorbo in the pecking order of captaincy. Possibly Hammond (no offence to him but I don't like captains to be playing upfront anyway and he doesn't seem very vocal either) and Stearman and Smith due to their age but even they would lead by example more so than Kisnorbo.

No but there's a definite consistency in the ability he has to really piss me off with his decisions.

How can he be our best captain, and not be good enough to play ahead of them?

Sadly I don't think that's the case. I genuinely think CL believes Kisnorbo is a quality player, and won't drop him at any costs. You're giving Levein too much credit if you think he's only playing Kisnorbo to save face.

Sorry guys but when did he say Kisnorbo was going to be captian?

I heard him say that the captain for next year looked likely to be a younger player but this could mean any one of 3 or four players?

I personally think he means Joey hughes or Paddy.

Levein seriously needs to work out where his priorities lie, does he do whats best for the team or plays his 'mates?' If its the latter he can feck off.

I was fond of Elvis when he first came but the guy did feck all to warrant staying on the pitch for 94mins last night. Kisnorbo as Captain? You are seriously deluded CL, leave Hume as an unused sub? Why didnt I think of that

I give up I really do, it was a relatively good performance (excluding the first 15 mins where De Vries won a header after 14 mins :o) until we fecked it up, no wonder Watford felt like they'd won, we let them off the hook big time.

Not Happy!

We all Know CL has his favourites and his most favourite this week was Kisnorbo, so much so he made his chum captain. Either that or CL's been on the Scotch (probably with Kisnorbo, and probably brought and paid for by Kisnorbo)!!!

Paddy Kisnorbo as captain? No Thanks

Paddy McCarthy as captain? Yes please. This boy is a true defender in the mold of Steve Walsh or Gerry Taggart. I can see why Stuart Pearce was unhappy Keegan let him go. He's committed, not afraid to shout at other players. The next club captain.

Where do I start with Skippy On Ice? Not only is he our worst player since Junior Lewis but we have a manager who thinks the world of him just like Taylor did with Lewis. Remember how much Lewis cost us in wages? I think Kisnorbo will do the same when Levein gets the boot and another manager comes in and takes a look at the twat.

Jesus christ he was so bad last night I was nearly in tears. He can't even pass a couple of yards and at one point he decided to spray a crossfield pass straight to the opposition because his damaged brain can't grasp the concepts of football.

I thought Kisnorbo and Douglas were a ****in disgrace last night and words can't describe how much they pissed me off. If I saw them in the street right now i'd be looking at a 25 years stretch straight after. ****in pair of tnucs.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Anyone see the programme last night?

It had pages of guff in which he said he could still make the Aussie World Cup squad.

Unless a bird flu pandemic lays low the entire male population of that country, he's got to be having a laugh, surely??
