Yep. But question it at the time and you get labelled as a "moaner" and everyone just points out how we were in League 1 14 years ago. It's been the same for the past 3 seasons now.

Yeh my figures were out but the point still stands that we shouldn't just fck the league off, we should finish as high as possible. Every penny will count for the club after covid!

Just done a predicter with final league table based on guessing result of every game left.

 

I was very surprised that with my scores Liverpool won the league and although my blue tinted specs were definitely on with me realising I had us unbeaten to the end, I thought I was reasonably fair elsewhere.

 

My conclusion, despite my blue tinted specs, looking at west ham and wolves predicted final points, 7th is still possible.

 

Would be interested in other people's final tables.

Because though we are better off financially..it does takes time to build & evolve, then gather experiences. One will also have hiccups and fallbacks..

We like all others have suffered with Covid,which will Effect & holdback,regress the strides one makes, that small level Financial Security & Budget will worry

clubs differently. We have always Fell short & struggled to entice the bigger fish into our nets,Covid made it even more difficult.

 

Many fans are pervious & oblivious to other various needed  sides of the business..

and though better than je,  our finances are not so readible/flexible as many will have..Making any Slips or mistakes are not so easy to carry or iron-out...than

stronger Financial steadier clubs...

 

If you Dont like the label, then dont go out your way to find something to moan about everytime..Its a pastime,..Pull into a pit stop occasionally..

Critic or Desire for higher balanced Ambition has its place,

though more prudent without the gas-pedal permanently being put  through the floor & demanding the Journey must

go quicker & further on a not so hot or immediate available budget, plus failing foresight for not allowing for the odd punctures on the way...

I mean for ffs we have at to have a Couple of rebores in these last 6 years..

I believe Spurs & Arsenal are IMO Away & gone & will achieve at worst 69+ pts..

The Dont knows...Wolves/Manutd/WHam, by this seasons Nature they actually will have indifferent results..

W.Ham......69pts............51

Wolves......67pts............49

Leicester...67pts............40.

 

If we do have a chance,then Teams below us simply dont count..

Playing three games before Wolves kick a ball again and catching two more up on West Ham is interesting. Win those and it livens things up massively.

Just out of interest, did you have Liverpool winning all their remaining games? Where did you have Man City down as dropping points?

 

It’s so hard to do an end of season prediction, as some teams are fighting for different things - including those with European or FA Cup commitments.

Ideally in the run in games against Crystal Palace, Southampton, Brighton, Brentford and Villa possibly Leeds and Newcastle too as they aren’t now playing for anything in the league.

The bottom 4 are always a nightmare to play in the last 7/8 games and they always out fight someone and get a random win or draw.

 

As for us, we play 3 of the teams not playing for anything, 2 teams trying to get into the CL - although Chelsea might have already qualified by the time we play them and 4 of the bottom 4. (Everton twice included in that). I expect us to get 18 points, if things go well possibly 21 - That could well get us 6th if West Ham drop a few points along the way.

Yes I did have Liverpool winning all of them and checking fixtures (history lost on the predicter website) Im pretty sure I had west ham to draw with man city at home. Last but one game.

 

Very difficult to predict, but gives an individual insight to the relative fixtures left for each team.

 

There will undoubtedly be twists and my.blue tinted specs will almost certainly be wrong but I'm hopeful, and more interested in the league run in than I was before I did this.

 

I think I was more interested in Everton getting relegated but don't think I even checked, too excited by the top half.

Oh I'm with you on that.  But when it's obvious we cant defend why bring it on yourself.

 

Those games we looked ok and good for it. He made the changes and it went to shite.

Still think we have great chance to finish 6th, however when we win on Thursday night we need to focus on one or the other! Either way, we’ll be in europa league next season 🦊
