Can I be greedy and have both? I don't want to choose which meant more to me. Before the premier league took over everything in football ( thanks SKY NOT ) The F.A cup was the most glamorous thing to win. One and only shot at club level playing at Wembley ( no semi finals played there then ) And the occasion when the streets up and down the country were empty for that afternoon in May each year. It meant more to a club than winning the league back then, and for us to reach the final 4 times previous and lose each one was heart breaking. So to finally win it for us as a club and supporters  was a lifetimes achievement that the majority of successful clubs would not appreciate as much as us. So on to the league. We came second to winning it ( the old first division ) in 1929 , not many supporters know that or cared compared to our subsequent FA finals . But like it or not Modern football is all about the premier league. Winning it is the ultimate goal of all of the big clubs. For us to win it against literally all the odds is quite rightly held as the greatest sporting achievement in the world to date. So yes balls to the poll I'm having both ! :scarf:

Our premier league win was the biggest  achievement in football history ..  my blubometer reading went through the roof !!  ..  Jeez just thinking about Bocelli singing that day has me wiping my eyes even now ..  but that was a season of so many moments ..  for a single moment ? ..  Youri’s goal going in  ..  then the final whistle ..  unbeatable ..   :bounce:

As so many others have said the title winning season was from, maybe late Feb, march onwards, probably the most anxiety driven rollercoaster of emotions I've ever felt regarding our club

The biggest moment from that season for me will always be Ulloa stepping up to take that penalty against West Ham, I was watching the game round my mates house, myself being the only Leicester supporter, and the nerves I felt when he was waiting to take it I cannot describe, I suppose the whole game was complete madness, debatable penalties, Vardy's sending off, wonder goal from Cresswell, as football matches go it had everything, so when Leo tucked the ball away the feeling of relief and ecstacy was unreal, I lost my head and ran around his house going berserk, a draw which felt like a massive win, looking back that whole team had more heart and desire then I thought possible, but in that moment the only player you wanted to take that penalty was Leo, he genuinely was a man for some big moments, he's a player I miss and rightly so is remembered very fondly by our fans

As single moments go, I know it's not part of the poll, but is a moment that whenever I think back to that incredible season, is a memory that always crops up, and leaves me with a smile on my face

Apologies for the essay 😅

When I see this even now I worry Leo is going to miss!

Imagine if you could travel back in time to May 2008 and show this thread!

I know that is when we were relegated to the 3rd division but what about travelling back to 3.08pm on 11th April 2015 when we were 20th in the PL and 1-0 down against WBA (game 31 of the PL season). Just over 1 year later we would win the PL ... you're having a laugh!

Son and i were there. Atmosphere was unreal and the aggression directed at Moss :@ Leo had balls of steel when putting the penalty in the net

I think the FA cup win FELT better because we kinda knew we were going to win the league before we actually won it… so the feeling of excitement lasted quite some time before we experienced the final elation (no jokes needed here btw)…

Re the FA cup, I found myself shouting at the tele more especially when their equaliser was disallowed, and of course it’d come off the back of Tieleman’s worldie.

Speak for yourself. Every bone in my body was convinced like it was too good to be true and we were going to blow the league up until that final whistle went in the Spurs vs Chelsea match. I felt sick before every game

Only possible reason the cup win could be described as better is we won it ourselves rather than waiting in the result of a different game.

There's somewhat of a feeling that's been expressed regularly on here that the Chelsea-Tottenham result was somehow critical in us winning the League. It wasn't really. We finished ten points ahead of Arsenal with a fading Spurs eleven points back.

We were mightily relieved by that result, but there's little doubt in my mind that, had Spurs won, we'd still have breezed it. The Chelsea result showed how frail Spurs were and just how tremendously psychologically strong City were at that point. I'll always maintain that was down to Pearson's team and the determination with which he infused the team - which manifested in the performances of several critical players - not least Kante, Drinkwater and Vardy.
