The league run was like winning a cup every time we won, plus we played some unbelievable stuff game after game

Great point.

The West Ham draw was a relief.

We were written off against Swansea because we were a 1 man team lol

Us winning the league is one of the great sporting moments of all time. It will go down in history. It still hasn't sunk in that we actually did it, and watching the trophy lift still makes the hairs stand up on end.

The FA Cup is only just behind it though, in terms of what it meant to me as a fan of Leicester. As I said on the other thread, considering our history, it possibly means as much as winning the league. And there were other factors - the fans being back, the winning goal from Tielemans, the fact it's a one off game. Our run was extremely impressive as well; four PL teams (inc. the European champions and the PL runners up) and a very good Brentford team. Only two goals conceded.

So I picked the league win, but I don't think it's as easy a decision as some are making out.

Perhaps the league win was more incredible, a real dreamland moment. But the FA Cup win was more satisfying, and in some ways more emotional.

League all the way. Thought of nothing else in life from 2 jan 2016 Bournemouth game onwards. I didn’t go to the cup final, and hence didn’t attend any game in the cup run. it’s not the same watching on tv as feeling it every weekend like in 2016

Definitely winning the league, but I get what you're saying about the cup final all coming down to that incredibly tense 90 minutes.

I went straight to the garden and screamed my celebration at the sky - didn't do that for the league win.

There is a very good book called the Title by Scott Murray. Basically for years the cup had all the glamour and the moments but he explains that the league is the ultimate. This is correct and our league win was the ultimate of ultimates. Yet because of that record of four final losses now we have won the cup that stain has been washed away. I won't argue that the league win is second to anything. For us old timers we were brought up with the fact that year after year other teams win the cup either time and again or an Ipswich,  Southampton or Wigan could do it. Yet we were beaten finalists only. To win the cup was the icing on the cake of loving our club for nearly 60 years . As a six year old I first saw us lose the 63 final on black and white telly. The redemption is complete.

My greatest single moment was Vardy’s “Who? - ****ing me!!!” last minute goal against West Brom.

Agreed. Probably my favourite goal ever.

I could argue that the League Cup win of 97 should be on the list.

For a lot of us, that was as good as it would ever get!!!

I remember thinking that

I think as a "single moment" the FA cup win takes it, as it all boiled down to that one day. The title win was more incredible across the season, and I'd choose to relive that time anyday, but it didn't have one single crescendo like Youri's goal, Schmeichel's save or Chilwells VAR, so can't see it as a single moment

Yep can't complain I've seen us win the League cup, The Play off cup, League 1, Championship, Prem, Fa Cup..

What more can ye ask for?

When I started going to watch us in the late 80's, it's quite conceivable that this topic could've been "Tony James keeping us up against Oxford or making a play off final"

We've been spoilt.

I wouldn't swap it for the world.

What about the 'single moment' when Chelsea prevented Spurs from possibly catching us up? For me, that moment was far bigger than the ones you've mentioned.

Imagine if you could travel back in time to May 2008 and show this thread!

I'd have had 200 quid on us to win the Premier League within a decade at every bookie you can think of!

The league win was bigger of course but as far as which actually felt better it might have to be the Cup, the league was a nervy time and even when it happened it just didn’t quite feel real, where as the moment Tielemans goal went in and when the final whistle went was unreal.
