RIP Mick Bell - Die hard Leicester fan

Unfortunately a close family friend who was Leicester City through and through passed away yesterday. You may recognise him having gone to games as he was ALWAYS there come rain or shine. He lived and breathed the boys in blue. Travelled endless miles over the best part of 40 years, regular season ticket holder and never missed an away game, including the European nights. The Keith Weller lounge was his second home. A core member of the foxes family that will be dearly missed by his family and in the stands. It’s unfortunate that we are in the middle of the break as it would have been very fitting to try have him recognised by the club. Hoping something can be done when it starts up again, he spent his entire life devoted to following the team so it would be a lovely touch if something was done.

He did indeed mate, he paid for all the family to sit in one of the boxes against hull in 2012 which I was ecstatic about. Very generous of him

Then it’s who I am thinking off, met him through someone I was working with many years ago, not much older than myself so still young, sorry for your loss.

Yes I recognise him - I'm really sorry for your loss and it's terrible to hear that we've lost a true blue. 

 

It looks as though we've trod a similar path by the the looks of it and so it's great he got to see us win the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Charity Shield as he'd have seen some proper crap over 40 years.

Bloody hell, my dad's known him since he was a kid. Very, very sad news

I knew Mick, not very well, but my mum and step dad used to live in Woodhouse and were quite close to him. Great guy and gutted to hear the news. He was a regular when I worked in the bulls head and we share many mutual friends.

 

Gonna miss him tagging himself into every game with his "3 pts please" on Facebook.

 

One of life's nice guys, top quality banter and would a lot for anyone.
