Why I think we will be ok

If Rodgers of 2 or 3 years ago popped up again we would be OK, but I don't think his attitude at the moment and lack of faith in certain players is a recipe for success, so at this moment in time I'm fearful of a long hard season.

Cheers for this mate. I have to admit I was getting a little worried by our total inability to defend, create chances or sign any players, the way our manager has visibly lost all hope and the fact our best young defender is so desperate to leave that it renders him unavailable for selection. But now I know we're only as bad as Everton, who are an absolutely horrific side and only narrowly stayed up last season, I'm looking forward to the rest of the season with newfound optimism and can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

I think the point is (if I might be so presumptuous) that there are likely to be other clubs more shit than us, hopefully at least 3 of them. I applaud the optimism tbh and I initially would have agreed. Now, I'm not so sure.

A big problem is the 3 promoted sides seem to be at it. In previous years they have been poor. If this continues those that have stood still and slowly going backwards are in trouble. Us and Everton are prime candidates.

From what I have seen of the first 3 games of the new season I don’t see 3 other teams worse than us.  Can’t see where the first win is going to come from.

The problem is, we are bad, and look like we won't beat anyone around us.  When the Evertons, the West Hams, the Man Uniteds come to town (who are all supposedly in a worse position than us), guess which team will roll over every time... Leicester.
