Financial Fair Play is a farce?

What are the penalties for breaching FFP? A fine, a transfer imbago? Certainly not a points deduction that would actually have an effect on those clubs in breach. Monetary penalties for the financially rich clubs will be loose change and anything beyond that would be challenged in the courts. 

 

The ESL wannabes are untouchable.

I don't like the obscene amount of money they spend or how their owners get it, I'd love to see a flat blanket salary cap across the league that stops rampant over spending. 

 

But FFP scaled in the way it is has never been fair and has always been set up to keep the richest clubs rich and stop anyone else closing the gap. It's an awful system. 

An easy one to solve also you'd think, if they actually wanted to. 

 

Allow investment that isn't loans.

people forget the HUGE margin of commercial global sales / shirts/ sponsors / investors / god knows what else they have coming in to balance the books, compared to LCFC who has a very small percentage. We cant get away with it unlike those big clubs that can sadly, FFP is a joke and unfair in that regard but  thisl take 10+ years of work, aslong as LCFC stay in the PL and keep moving forward commercially.

Isn't it funny how the club who have challenged the elite in recent years are the ones who are being most heavily impacted by it?

Maybe because we don't have the financial power to buy better.

 

The whole PL set up is biased towards reinforcing the Cash 6 and not just FFP.

TV revenues are based on appearances so they get the largest shares because the media are bound to show then more with their bigger fan base Oversees income whish is generated by selling the PL provides them with a greater share which we surprisingly voted for. The bigger the fan base the bigger the merchandise revenues.

 

The USA might all be about the survival of the fittest but the NFL revenues set up as far as I'm led to believe is about as level as you could hope for in a professional sport.
