History and the chances of him turning this around are massively against him. The sensible play is to get rid of him, it should have happened already, every additional game is a huge unnecessary risk.

Even if he puts a run together. He's got too many weaknesses outside of his outdated and inflexible football philosophy that we're seeing on the pitch. Every 6 months he's hear, he sets us back another year.

I've seen so much nonsense in this thread, mainly about "first he needs to accept blame" type comments. Utter twaddle!

This is purely hypothetical, but if he got us playing like Real Madrid or Man City, you wouldn't give a rat's ass if he was some pompous self-aggrandising git or the humblest of club servants.

I can’t say for everyone but I generally disagree. We say that Rodgers need to take the blame not because of some value we see in being humble (maybe there is by the way), but because his problems have been obvious (at least to some) for 2 years (with many not believing us for a while) and if Rodgers could not see what they are we have no chance to get out of this vicious circle (which started a long long time ago). So when we say he needs to take the blame, it means he needs to be self aware and recognise his mistakes so there is a chance he may correct them. And also, in the circumstances where morale is low, if the Rodgers cannot show leadership by taking responsibility, how can he lead the team out of this??

I think by sticking with him for this Spurs game (which is very likely a loss) I reckon they will give him the forest game and if we lost that that’s it. There’s no way they wouldn’t sack him losing to them again and having 1 point from 8 games..

This feels like ground hog day. Just get rid after Spurs.
