Thought Soumare was excellent.

Maddison on another level. I don’t know how Southgate not only doesn’t have him in the squad, but he should be starting every game at the World Cup.

He controlled that game from start to finish in a way that I’ve never seen Bowen, Mount, Saka do.

Apart from subs, no-one lower than a 7, Madders 9, Faes and Youri 8s. Best away display for at least a couple of seasons. Reminiscent of some of the 19/20 performances in how we controlled it and totally snuffed them out.
