Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast

Aesthetic football niches:

• Marking man to man on opposition throw ins - More of a bugbear of mine that we just let our opponents throw the ball to a free teammate at will
• Teams coming out in the kit ready for kick off, none of this midlayer nonsense

[Gazza3]

I like to see a player on each post when defending a corner and also leave an attacking player on half way line.

Used to love seeing players and staff at clubs in official club ties. Don't know why.

Nah i prefer them wearing tracksuits with their huge headphones on ignoring everyone.  Makes you really feel a part of the club.

A couple of mine:

- Goals where it is a low shot and the ball rolls all the way up the net to the roof of the goal.

- This one is a dying breed, but football grounds that are surrounded by terrace housing, especially when they are old grounds where the stands are different. Think Maine Road, Filbert Street, Goodison Park, Highbury, Highfield Road etc.

Looking back at the early Premier League Years and you see stands being rebuilt and I like the gaps in the stands, and without roofs and you get a feel for the outside world beyond the match (God, that sounds very Ron Manager). The new or built up stadia take that away.
