The Green Day marketing machine has woken up (well, I guess September has ended LOL.)

Seems like a new single for an album they've been threatening for a couple of years is finally about to drop. Sounds more akin to their 00s output than more recent (dogshit) stuff.

Although that is a pretty questionable cover art. Fans will try to find some symbolism, but I'd guarantee it was chosen because it's a striking image with no consideration of the context. 

 

People in NI might find it problematic.
