cisono Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Good team. "Rab should get through the 90 minutes". But we've not named a substitute keeper again Rab -> Oh dear!!!
Matt Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Leeds 1 - 0 Leicester C'Mon City! Take your chances! I'm not expecting every chance to go in, but eight corners and some dangerous free kick posistions, take some of your chances at least!
TornadoShaunUK Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Rab = Shit.. I just thought I'd take this opportunity to reiterate that fact..
Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 It's been a problem all season and we've done nothing about it that I've noticed.
Durnerz Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Same old leicester What, the one that beat Sheff Utd 4-2 the other week? I hope so! (Later on it would seem)
Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Levein quoted as saying how important free kicks are. Is he for real? We seem to have the worst preparation in the League for free-kicks and leave our only genuine specialist free-kick taker at home. I will never understand his logic and here we are trailing in a game when we've had loads of chances and loads of the ball.
cisono Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 "the big figure of McCarthy..."? Barber really does have a thing for him
syston_fox Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 To be honest, losing this one wouldnt be the end of the world. In the last couple of weeks, we've taken on three on the top few teams. 4 points wouldnt be a bad return considering where we are in the league
Durnerz Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 "the big figure of McCarthy..."? Barber really does have a thing for him Can't stand him over the past couple of games hes commentated on "HUME GETS TO THE GOAL LINE" i'm thinking to myself "WELL PUT IT IN THE NET!" but he seems to get confused between a byline and a goal line. As much as I like his randomness he cant half be a twat sometimes.

Gené and Tonic Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 This half has shown how much Sheehan would have benefitted the team. The corners, the damn freekicks. He is the only proper left back at the club ffs. This is getting silly now. Someone needs to confront Levein about it. He is the only person in Leicester who doesn't want him in the team. He'd better come on the phone in and explain himself! Sheehan for left back!

Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 To be honest, losing this one wouldnt be the end of the world. In the last couple of weeks, we've taken on three on the top few teams. 4 points wouldnt be a bad return considering where we are in the league But we shouldn't be losing. We've had chance after chance. Levein has to get some new coaching input on the evidence I've seen over weeks and weeks and he needs to use specialist free-kick takers - if he's got in in for Sheehan for some reason then get someone else. It is a problem that lots of us have been complaining about for ages. Lack of height in the box doesn't help with our corners/free-kicks so we've got to either approach em differently or we've got to get some people who can head a ball. Free kicks really are the easiest way to forge goals - and with a bit of imagination, the ball barely has to leave the ground. Preparation, that's what it's all about.
