Collymore Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Does anyone know how to get Leeds commentry? I really can't satnd JB anymore. He's just such a twat
syston_fox Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 That enforsces tornadoshauns point about Rab Not neccessarily. None of us have seen the goal yet, it may have been one of those that no keeper in the world would save. Im not Rab's biggest fan but blaming him for everything is a bit harsh!
Louise Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 This half has shown how much Sheehan would have benefitted the team. The corners, the damn freekicks. He is the only proper left back at the club ffs. This is getting silly now. Someone needs to confront Levein about it. He is the only person in Leicester who doesn't want him in the team. He'd better come on the phone in and explain himself! Sheehan for left back! Levein has nothing against Sheehan, in fact he's the one who saw something special in him when Micky and his coaches didn't. If Micky had even noticed his potential and played him even 10 times before Levein came here then I'm sure Levein would be far more inclined to play him now, as it is Sheehan has very little experience and so needs to be brought in slowly... Good delivery from free kicks and corners vs. possible vulnerability and recklessness from open play is probably what Levein is weighing up in his mind... As for this match, yes we're 1-0 down, however it sounds as if we've been on top for most of the match and that has to be a positive sign...9 corners, 8 of which have been poor..but as long as we're forcing the corners at least we're attacking...
Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 That enforsces tornadoshauns point about Rab It's a point but from what I could gather there were umpteen City players covering when the Leeds guy was fouled by Joey. I wonder if it's another case of too many cooks around the penalty area as happened against Watford towards the end. Certainly it sounded like an unnecessary free-kick.
syston_fox Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 bloody hell - living dangerously. They've hit the bar again!

I've never noticed this recklessness you talk of in respect of Sheehan, certainly not in the five matches I've seen him play this season. We should be scoring 10-15 goals a season from free kicks/corners and can't afford to give ourselves this sort of handicap and expect to be successful. He won't of course get any experience if he's never involved and I could understand it if others were doing better than he could, but they're not.
Collymore Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 When Sinclair does his summary of what JB has just said, it's totally different to what JB was saying!
Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 A lot of the pace and energy has gone out of the game.
