Select a Foxes Talk page from history

For a laugh I thought I’d select a foxes talk page from the past at random

 

The page number I picked took me back to August 2 - August 4th 2013 and among the highlight was the Boro match thread. (Middlesbrough 1 LCFC 2) 
 

among the nuggets of gold  is

Different era, nothing changes on here. I do wonder if there are some supporters out there who have taken no enjoyment out of the last 10’years following the foxes.

Well, yes. Assuming we go down, it's the first time we've been relegated since then. So yes, relegation will indeed be the lowest point we've been at since the last time we got relegated.

You could get a random number generator to give you a number between one and the max number of pages.

Ok cool, so given there are 1971 pages for this folder, I go into Excel and perform the formula =rand()*1971  -- I know it's not entirely random as per purists -- and the first result is 786

I go to page 786 and yes there are interesting threads like "Vardy or Wood for Sunday?"  and "As if being named Elvis wasn't bad enough.."

 

I was hoping to give this place a break over the summer...
