The simple fact Rudders and Sue’s big plan is to meet this week - and haven’t already drilled down into our mistakes of two+ years standing - says all that’s needed to be said about our prospects next season. No sense of urgency, no clue to the problems.

The recruitment since 2021 has been abject, virtually every signing has been disappointing or a downgrade. Only Lookman has been a hit really and that is debatable and we couldn't even get that done beyond a seasons loan.

Of those who have gone, only Fofana has brought in a decent fee and would have been considered first choice.

The others have either been overlooked or not been good enough.

 

I'm sure plenty of people will argue about some of the listed players but you get the point.

For me, it shows why we are, where we are.
