Hes only like 34 still capable of southern league level. What can I say, he loves the club. Third stint as a Raven for McManus now.

Credit to him, must have lot of love for the club to drop down to that level. Interesting moves Coalville > Nuneaton Boro > Coalville > Barwell > Coalville Never know Leroy Lita may return to Coalville if he isn't disturbing residents late at night in Barwell. I don’t think there’s any chance of Leroy returning.

Daggers Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 Am I going Sudbury? Am I bollox. We’ve signed a couple of gash CBs to address our shortcomings in midfield, so I’m fully expecting our rapid decline to be on display again, against what would otherwise be a 3pt banker. I’ll spend a few hours day drinking instead.
CosbehFox Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 I’d be surprised if Kettering fell to Sudbury as rhey are utter doggo. Looking like Quorn v Corby for me. Win that and I think Quorn have as good as won the league already

Win that and I think Quorn have as good as won the league already We’ve signed a slow, misfiring 34yr old defender, Isiah Noel Williams is reported to have left, we’ve only taken four subs…one of which has been getting pissed in Thailand for the last month. On top of Lavs’ bizarre outburst to the exec lounge last weekend, things are going very wrong at the club.

filbertway Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 Solid 4 1 loss away to clay cross. First shot on target after about 94 mins when the clay cross keeper ran into his defender and left an open goal 1
Leicesterpool Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 6-2 win for Boro at Paget rangers, top vs bottom. 7 point lead on top now with heather st johns dropping points.
Super_horns Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 Great win for Sittingbourne in the Trophy at Southend .
Whatever Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 Telford are a good side, very happy with a point as I think they'll win the league. 1

Pretty abject that aside. 1
Tuna Posted 1 February 2025 Author Posted 1 February 2025 Hapless and hopeless Grantham next week for Quorn...I'll be going
joeybside Posted 1 February 2025 Posted 1 February 2025 Quorn 3 - 0 Corby Town Great atmosphere down the Stotto for the 1st v 2nd shootout with over 500 in attendance. Corby bringing good numbers and overall, a top bunch. Plenty of noise and banter. A proper unit. Quorn rampant 1st half the ever outstanding Cain Noble with a brace. 2nd half Corby came out the blocks but hardly troubled the rustler Tom Alsopp in goal. The G.O.A.T has two chances to kill the game but eventually a sublime strike from Zak Goodson killed the game on 90 mins. Season far from over but a huge step towards promotion. And another huge tick in the ‘non-league is better than elite football’ box 2

Seventyseven Posted 2 February 2025 Posted 2 February 2025 Very good point away at Telford for Harborough. Dempsey Arlott-John was back, not sure how long for but feel he needs to settle somewhere. 1

Quorn’s budget is around £2200. The Chairman runs a VERY tight ship. For every £350 a week player, there’s a £120 player happy to give their all. Squad are a tight knit bunch. Manager has them playing the right football at high pace and has made very astute signings to strengthen last years squad. Key players from last season have improved. Billy Kee sits on the bench for petrol money. That says all you need.
