Daggers Posted 18 January 2025 Posted 18 January 2025 It’ll be Luton (Bedford) Town (United) by 2026. Crypto is on a march. 1
Whatever Posted 18 January 2025 Posted 18 January 2025 Harborough at it again, six on the spin. Kettering are turning into a bit of a mess. 2

Wasn’t a mess so much as the single most abysmal display of reffing I’ve seen in a very long time. Probably one of our best away performances this season.

Quite fortunate the rest of the league haven't got their act together. Rob Morgan bagged the opener today, a really good performance and honestly, I reckon we're in with a play-off shout. 1

Called it when I said he was going to be a quality signing for whoever got him. Genuinely think Harbs are in the mix now - momentum and a quality addition. We seemed to falter after the cup exit - finally start playing to potential and some cvnt in black totally fvcks everything up. Oh well, chats, pie and pints made sure the day wasn’t a complete wash. And fvck Redditch for the shite segregation creating a scene at full time. At least marshall your fvcking fans - all 12 of them. It’s not a tough ask.

Your next five fixtures are looking quite tidy though, probably your only saving grace given you've only taken five from five. I think Morgan will be the diffence between top half & play-offs - I expected him to join Lemington or Tamworth in fairness, but he's a Leicester lad so it does make sense (as well as the pay packet, I'm not daft). Fully aware you're not particularly impressed by the Harborough support, but the scenes at the end of the game today were absolutely class. Edited 18 January 2025 by Whatever 1

Tuna Posted 18 January 2025 Author Posted 18 January 2025 (edited) Grantham 0-0 Lye Both will go down, but an entertaining game. Grantham just couldn't get a goal! Team is now built on loanees/dual regs - 1 from Doncaster, 2 from Barnsley, 1 from Chesterfield, 3 from Lincoln and 1 from Buxton, but the new manager has made an impact. Pleased I didn't waste my afternoon listening to our game on the radio! Edited 18 January 2025 by Tuna
joeybside Posted 18 January 2025 Posted 18 January 2025 Quorn 4 - 1 Boldmere St Mikes Interesting game despite what the scoreline suggests. Quorn in cruise control 2-0 up at HT could and should have been more. Boldmere come out 2nd half and Quorn sloppiness leads to a goal conceded and difficulty in keeping hold of possession and winning 2nd ball. Both sides have a penalty denied Quorn’s was stonewall. Enter Paddy Webb coming back after long term injury, sheer quality kills the game off having a hand in two goals scoring one and an assist. Jordan Gough solid at CB. Cain Noble outstanding in the 10 role. Young RB Burgess deputising hardly put a foot wrong

Not sure why you can’t just post the link to them? But as others have said, Harboroughs revenue comes from much more than match days. Doubt there is a club in the region bringing in more from the clubhouse and partners use of the facility. Another super win today, I’ve no doubt Mitch and the club are looking towards the playoffs now. 3

Wasn't there a merger a while ago that didn't work out between a couple of Bedfords? Seem to remember reading about it somewhere. Can't say I'd be too struck with a prospective Crypto Bro takeover.
CosbehFox Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 This finale to Southern Premier is going to be brilliant. Halesowen & Stratford won last night to go 1st and 2nd.

Leicesterpool Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 Very tight in southern league central promotion race their's about eight teams that could still win the league.
