Monga 2-0

Missed the goal as my son needed a hot dog but he's been unbelievable.

Alves is here, so not sure how close his move to Cardiff is.

Cover has joined Fleetwood on loan

This suggests those already been on loan this season that also played that Papa John's game for us can go on loan again ala Braybrooke?

Anyone standing out other than Monga?

Yes, Evans was equally as impressive and Briggs looked excellent when he came on. I really like the look of Aluko who played LB but usually plays RB i think.

Page is a classy attacking midfielder but he drifted in and out the game.

How did Josh King look @Ric Flair

Plenty to like about him. If he could sharpen up his first touch then I think he's got the all round game to make it to at least the lower leagues. Holds it up well, strong presser and hard to get the ball off.

Under 18s are currently 2-1 up away against Reading after about 20 minutes

Lorenz Hutchinson with 2 goals in 3 minutes

Crystal Palace have become the first club to offer an aftercare programme for released players that don't have a future in football.
The three-year aftercare package will support released academy players in making a way of life, outside of football.
This is an incredible step made by the club, we need more of this! 👏🏻👏🏻

A commendable move by Palace,  Though what I'd really like us to do is insist that all juniors continue with some form of studies. Whether that be Aprenticeship training or further Education like a Third level Course or Degree.

This would prepare them for a career after Football regardless of how their career progresses.

The old saying is as true as ever. Knowledge is no load to carry. Especially at a young age.

Monga's goal last night 🤌

The unique thing about Monga is whichever wing he plays on he leads on the opposite foot. So at right wing he takes the ball as if he's left footed but will go in or out and cause uncertainty for the defence and then at LW he'll predominantly use his right foot (which is his slightly stronger foot i believe).

Mesmerising talent.

Let's just hope we can keep him here as he seems certain to have a good career ahead of him.
