met a Bournemouth ST holder mate last night who said they'd had an e-mail advising there wouldn't be any away tickets for the Leicester game in Oct 'because of the construction works' - is that right?

Is that even allowed?

Bournemouth games are always on Blue Light Tickets so not exactly like they can't shift some home fans around and still give an allocation.

Pretty sure we're obligated to provide 10% of whatever our available capacity is.  If there's no away fans that'll mean there's no home fans to :D

They're referring to our home game against Bournemouth, because we're down there place last away game of the season.

https://ticket-compare.com/premier-league-away-ticket-allocations/#:~:text=The away allocation in the,the seats in the stadium.

"home clubs must offer the visiting team a minimum of 3,000 tickets if their capacity exceeds 30,000. If their capacity is lower, the minimum away allocation in the Premier League must be 10% of the seats in the stadium."

If it is down to redevelopment, they will still have to find 1,307 ish tickets for away fans, even if it means moving home ST holders for the game.

They don't think it will be ready until 2027. They will have to have a long term plan and are really gambling they don't have a bad season and get relegated like some other clubs who announced stadium expansions and then fell down a league:whistle:

Wasn't sure where to post this but I met a Bournemouth STH last night who told me there'd be no away fans at the game in October because of the construction works. This can't be correct surely?

Tell him we're that team from the East Midlands that's recently won trophies.

Although if he bumps into any of the other lot, they will repeatedly tell stories of 1980 that never get dull 🥱
